BCCI suspended Amit Singh former Rajasthan Royals bowler

BCCI has suspended Amit Singh for his alleged involvement in spot-fixing. In a press release on Friday, the Board said the Gujarat bowler has been suspended, pending inquiry.

Among the 14 people arrested on Thursday in the massive spot-fixing scandal that has rocked the Indian Premier League, was Singh. This former Rajsathan Royals player is accused by the police of being the "talent-spotter" for the bookies.

In his press conference yesterday, Delhi Police chief Neeraj Kumar had indicated the presence of middlemen in fixing deals. In the police's books, Singh's name figures as Amit Kumar.

Singh, who has played for the Royals in four editions of the game, allegedly used his access to his former teammates to play middleman and approach them for spot-fixing. Police sources said he got in touch with players on behalf of a bookie named Chandresh, who has also been arrested.

In a big swoop on Thursday, the special cell of the Delhi Police arrested three Rajasthan Royals players, among them Test cricketer S Sreesanth, for alleged spot-fixing in three different matches since last week. Police sources said they are also looking closely at 15 other matches. The alleged role of Singh as the go-between is suspected to be crucial, the sources say.

Born in Bidar (Karnataka) Singh, 31, has played the prestigious domestic tournament, Ranji Trophy, for Gujarat. He made his IPL debut under Shane Warne against Kings XI Punjab in 2009, where he had impressive figures of 3 for 9 from his four overs.

However, he was banned last year from bowling because of a suspect bowling action and played his last IPL match in May 2012.

Interestingly, his being dropped paved the way for bowlers Sreesanth and West Indian Fidel Edwards to win contracts with Rajasthan Royals this season.

In phone transcripts that the Delhi Police released on Thursday, Singh allegedly asks Ajit Chandila, one of the Royals players arrested, how he will signal the beginning of a fixed over. "I will pull both my T-shirts up and down and will then look up before starting the over," Chandila purportedly says.

The police alleged that at a May 5 match against the Pune Warriors, Chandila failed to signal the over, but duly gave away 13 runs in it as fixed. The bookies, they alleged, could not place bets and this led to an argument between the player and bookies. Chandila had to return the Rs 20 lakh advance that he had allegedly been given, the police said.

Amit Singh allegedly caught as one of the bookie for spot fixing in ipl 2013

Previously playing for rajasthan royals and now turned into bookie, Rajasthan Royals cricketer Amit Singh has been allegedly caught as one of the bookie for the spot fixing of the three players namely Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan.
One of the 11 bookies arrested so far in the latest IPL spot-fixing scandal is named Amit Singh - a former Rajasthan Royals player who was released by the franchise as latest as last year, ESPNCricinfo reported on Thursday.

Amit, a fast bowler who also represented Gujarat in the Ranji Trophy in the 2012-13 season, was in the Rajasthan Royals' squad from 2009 to 2012 and played 23 matches during his four-year association with the franchise.

ESPNcricinfo also reported that Amit "was picked up for questioning five days ago but was formally arrested on Thursday in connection with the spot-fixing case that also allegedly involves three current Royals players [Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila]. Singh, 31, has been identified in the first information report (FIR) as 'Amit Kumar r/o Ahmedabad, Gujarat'."
It has also been learned that Amit was the key man in spotting the players who could spot-fix. He was arrested from Ahmedabad and has been heard extensively speaking tot he players.
He was in news before also because of this suspicious bowling action and was ban from ipl for his bowling action in ipl 2012.

Sarabjit Singh Dead

Since 1990, Sarabjit Singh was jailed in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Pakistan. He was an Indian National convicted by Pakistani authorities for his involvement in 1990 serial bomb blasts in Lahore and Faislabad. Sarabjit for past 10-12 years has been claiming that he was a farmer and his identity was mistaken by the authorities. He was sentenced to death in 1991, but his hanging has been repeatedly postponed. Five mercy petitions have been filed on his behalf, and with the help of this he has served 22 years of prison term for a crime he is not guilty of. Pakistan's President had ordered his release after the petition was filed on May, 2012. 5 hours later this pardon was revoked and it was claimed that another prisoner, Surjeet Singh was released and not Sarabjit.

Not talking much about the rubbish and stupid things that has been happening to Sarabjit Singh for past 10 years. Talking about the recent jail attacks on Sarabjit, last week of April month(26th April,2013), he was attacked in the Jail by six prisoners with bricks, sharp metal sheets, iron rods and blades. He was admitted to the hospital immediately with severe head injuries in a critical condition. He was in coma, with a broken backbone and on a ventilator. According to his family members, the attacks on Sarabjit was planned and they say the jail authorities were also involved in these attacks. Sarabjit had been threatened many a times after Afzal Guru was executed in India in Feb-2013. He was involved in the Indian Parliament attack case. Some sources say that the attacks on Sarabjit Singh was planned after Afzal Guru's execution.

Sarabjit Singh died on 2nd May 2013 in Pakistan's Jinnah hospital. The Indian Prime Minister(the silent minister) Manmohan Singh, termed the attack was very sad. Appeals by lawyers were also filed wtih the supreme court of Pakistan to send Sarabjit for medical treatment to the UK or outside Pakistan to save his life. On May 1st, he was declared brain dead by doctors at the hospital in Lahore, but Pakistani authorities refused to give any statements. He died on 2nd May 2013 at Lahore's Jinnah Hospital.

Iron Man 3- Movie Reviews.

NDTV MOVIES
Stars--3/5

The first scene ushers in a New Year's party in Bern, Switzerland, heralding the new millennium where a businessman-cum-genius inventor-cum mechanic Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is partying hard. The audience waits with baited breath to understand how he creates his own demons.

Iron Man 3 is the superhero's journey of finding the demons he created and destroying them.

Jam-packed with humour and gags, there is no emotional connect with the characters. During the course of the narration, director Shane Black and his co-writer Drew Pearce have meandered from the graphic novel into subplots merging the sensibilities of the eighties and early nineties, thus making everything odd in the character's history.

Ben Kingsley adds a comic dimension to this Chinese looking Osama-bin-Laden-esque villain. While Gwyneth and Rebecca have nothing much to display, Guy nails his character to the T. But it is Ty Simpkins as Harley, the smart kid who surpasses expectations with a mature performance as a friend and ally to Tony and lays the foundation for the next sequel.

With a captivating finale, Iron Man 3 is a slick, inspired fantasy-adventure film that almost anyone can enjoy. Let's pray for the next edition to come soon.

Iron Man 3 shows up both the glories and the extreme limitations of the superhero summer blockbuster genre. Director Shane Black and his British co-writer Drew Pearce work tremendously hard to bring humour, irony and complexity to their screenplay, even if they are defeated by the sheer superficiality of their source material.
Downey is a brilliant actor who somehow manages to portray Tony Stark as traumatised without losing the character's laidback and comedic quality.Whereas Bale is saturnine and intense – a superhero carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders – Downey is playful and Chaplinesque. The Iron Man franchise – along with his role in Sherlock Holmes – has revived Downey's career after the drug-related problems he endured a decade ago. He is now a very big star.

By picking this famous super villain from Marvel Comic books and reinventing him thus, highlighting the sheer idiocy of terror as well as the huge impact of it, Iron Man 3 sets just the right tone for this third film in the series.
If the first part was about both Downey Jr and Iron Man finding themselves – and what a piece of serendipity it was, to choose the actor for the role – the second was about pitting him against one as megalomaniac as him to show him the other side of it.
In the third film, Tony Stark has apparently made peace with his demons as well as come face to face with gods and aliens (The Avengers). Where does he go from here? That's what this film seeks to explore, when Stark is faced with a global terrorist whose uncertain agenda somehow comes to be centred entirely around him.

Empire
Stars 4/5

Three signs you’re watching a Shane Black movie: it’s Christmas, there’s a meta voiceover, and some of the best lines are dispensed by designer-suited henchmen. Pleasingly, Iron Man 3 ticks every box. Just as Joss Whedon pepped up Avengers Assemble with his unique brand of jocosity, here, despite the sci-fi trimmings and goliath budget, it feels like Black’s been given carte blanche by Marvel to do his thing. The result is a swinging caper with wit, balls, heart and exploding baubles. It’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang with a lot of extra bang. And, by some distance, the Man In The Can’s best solo outing so far.

Like Bond in Skyfall, Tony Stark loses his flash car and big house. He is also, for a sizeable stretch of the movie, deprived of his super-suits. This is a new, vulnerable side to the playboy-philanthropist: he’s on the run, in the corner, pausing between quips to suffer breathless anxiety attacks.

Part of the problem is PTSD, brought on by his near-fatal tangle with that Chitauri wormhole in New York. But his more pressing concern is a very bad man who goes by the monicker The Mandarin. A shadowy, ethnically indeterminate figure with the didactic menace of Colonel Kurtz and the attack-chopper access of Colonel Kilgore, this terrorist overlord is regularly forcing his way onto US airwaves to threaten dire “lessons”. No-one knows his identity, his location or where he’s buying his extraordinarily nifty video-editing software.

As well as the customary Downey Jr wisecracks, there are sight gags, bits of slapstick, Downton Abbey references and a genius beat involving a suit of armour turning its head. The ominous introduction of a boy sidekick in the second act turns out to yield some of the sparkiest repartee. And Don Cheadle’s Rhodes, a character who barely made an impression in the other films, is skilfully tweaked, becoming the amusingly square Murtaugh to Tony’s Riggs. Wait until you hear his password.

Far more successful is the aforementioned Mandarin, who in the Iron Man comics is a super-powered martial artist with magic rings. While a close-up shot reveals that his fingers are adorned by rings, there are surprises beneath the character’s sinister hood which we won’t spoil. Suffice to say that people will be talking about Ben Kingsley’s performance for ages to come — it’s a tricky, delicate role, handled beautifully.

As for why the other Avengers aren’t getting off their invincible butts to help, it’s explained away, a little unconvincingly, with the line: “This isn’t superhero business. It’s American business.” Iron Man 3’s greatest achievement is that they’re not missed.

Verdict
Black proves the perfect blacksmith, forging smart new tech and scenarios for the swaggering super-genius. If this does turn out to be Downey Jr.’s final solo outing, it’s a very strong exit.

With characters culled from Marvel Comics, we know for sure that Iron Man 3 would be packed with spectacular action and nice razor sharp, witty lines. When, the film begins with a voice-over which states - "A famous man once said, we create our own demons. Never mind who the famous man is." We are all the more confident about the same. The voice-over at the very onset sets the tenor of the film.

Flash forward to the present day, following the attacks on New York where a new terrorist, Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), is threatening to bring down the US government. Tony is mentally fatigued. He is worn out with confidence and anxiety issues. This causes a strain on his relationship with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).
With his back against the wall, Tony has to survive by his own devices, relying on his creativity and instincts to protect himself and those close to him. He has also to juggle a tense relationship with his old buddy James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) and beautiful ex-girlfriend Maya (Rebecca Hall). Along the way, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him - Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

All in one....it is a must watch movie for all the sci-fi lovers.

Risk Free- DRINKING

I never take risk while drinking
.
.
.
.
When I come from office in the evening, wife is cooking

I can hear the noise of utensils in the kitchen

I stealthily enter the house

Take out the bottle from my black cupboard

Shivaji Maharaj is looking at me from the photo frame

But still no one is aware of it

Becoz I never take a risk
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
I take out the glass from the rack above the old sink

Quickly enjoy one peg

Wash the glass and again keep it on the rack

Of course I also keep the bottle inside my cupboard

Shivaji Maharaj is giving a smile

.
.
.
.
.

I peep into the kitchen

Wife is cutting potatoes

No one is aware of what I did

Becoz I never take a risk
.
.
.
.
.
I to my wife : Any news on chopra's daughter's marriage

Wife : Nope, she doesn't seem to be that lucky. Still they are looking out for her .
.
.
.
.
.
I again come out; there is a small noise of the black cupboard

But I don't make any sound while taking out the bottle

I take out the glass from the old rack above sink

Quickly enjoy one peg
.
.
.
.
.

Wash the bottle and keep it in the sink

Also keep the Black Glass in the cupboard

But still no one is aware of what I did

Becoz I never take a risk
.
.
.
.
.

I to Wife : But still I think chopra's daughter's age is not that much

Wife: What are you saying? She is 28 yrs old... like an aged horse

I: (I forgot her age is 28) Oh Oh...
.
.
.
.
.
.

I again take out potatoes out from my black cupboard

But the cupboard's place has automatically changed

I take out the bottle from the rack and quickly enjoy one peg in the sink .
.
.
.
.
.
Shivaji Maharaj laughs loudly

I keep the rack in the potatoes & wash Shivaji Maharaj's photo & keep it in the black cupboard .
.
.
.
.
.

Wife is keeping the sink on the stove

But still no one is aware of what I did

Becoz I never take a risk
.
.
.
.
.
I to Wife: (getting angry) you call Mr. chopra a horse? If you say that

again, I will cut your tongue...!

Wife: Don't just blabber something, go out and sit quietly...
.
.
.
.
.
.
I take out the bottle from the potatoes

Go in the black cupboard and enjoy a peg

Wash the sink and keep it over the rack

Wife is giving a smile
.
.
.
.
.
Shivaji Maharaj is still cooking

But still no one is aware of what I did

Becoz I never take a risk
.
.
.
.
.
.
I to Wife : (laughing) So chopra is marrying a horse!!

Wife: Hey go and sprinkle some water on your face...
.
.
.
.
.
.
I again go to the kitchen, and quietly sit on the rack

Stove is also on the rack

There is a small noise of bottles from the room outside .
.
.
.
.
I peep and see that wife is enjoying a peg in the sink

But none of the horses are aware of what I did

Becoz Shivaji Maharaj never takes a risk .
.
.
.
.
.
Chopra is still cooking

And I am looking at my wife from the photo and laughing

Becoz I never take...... never take ..... never take what??? I

Google Glass

Apple was yesterday and fighting to be in today. Samsung and his galaxies running the smartness all over the globe. But, this devices are losing their charm with time.
As said by Samsung, the next big thing is here..so what next??
It could be Google Glass, the weird-looking augmented reality-enabled spectacles that the company hopes to sell by the million once it hits the retail markets later this year.
If the Internet buzz is anything to go by, a brand new genre of gadget could be headed to your living room by year end. Google has already said it has finalised its design for the Google Glass.
Google Glass and its not just a glass.
The solution to attract people back to the technology is a wearable glass computer that augments reality as and when one needs it. At other times, well, it is supposed to be a cool looking glass.
Google will need to build an Apps ecosystem surrounding the capabilities of Google Glass for the device to succeed. But it is not hard to see that happen. Already, in its various demos, Google Glass has been shown to be pretty handy with regard to mapping and imaging solutions. Although it would be weird to be in a room full of Google Glass-wearing nerds talking to their glasses: “Glass, do this, etc.” But the answers to that will be known for sure by next year.
Features
1. CameraGoogle Glass has the ability to take photos and record 720p HD video. While video is recording, a recording light is displayed above the eye, which is unnoticeable to the wearer.
2. Navigation
Google Maps can be used by google glass and this device also displays the

weather.
3. Voice Commands
Apple has siri, Samsung has S-Voice and so is Google Glass. It understands
so many different voice commands that can help you save your typing and
time.

Following are some of the featured and activation text.
